2021 NC Main Street Champion
Myra Stone is a tireless supporter and driving force for the growth of Laurinburg’s Main Street community. A downtown business owner, Myra is recognized as a leader by her business peers. She often takes the lead in rallying their support and advocating for participation in events and downtown revitalization efforts. As a member of the Laurinburg Downtown Advisory Council, she also sits on the Promotions and Events subcommittee. Here, she lends a sensible business voice, and a sense of passion and excitement for the town she calls home. Not interested in repeating what has been done in the past, Myra has helped lead the charge to create, organize, and participate in new events including the Summer Sidewalk Sale, Fall Fest, and the increasingly popular Laurinburg Farmers Market.
For these reasons, the Laurinburg Downtown Advisory Council is proud to name Myra Stone as its NC Main Street Champion.
