Kay Raynor - Clinton

This year, Clinton recognizes Kay Raynor, President of the Sampson County History Museum and member of the Clinton Main Street Promotion Committee, as its 2020 Champion. Kay is an integral member of Clinton’s Main Street community and has received the Clinton Main Street Volunteer of the Year award on two occasions.

An avid supporter of culture and the arts, Kay acquired downtown Clinton’s piano and had it placed on Main Street for all to enjoy playing. As President of the Sampson County History Museum, Kay annually leads partnerships with the Clinton Main Street Program during its Square Fair & BBQ Cook-off and the Christmas in the City events. When not working for the museum, Kay serves on the Clinton Downtown Promotion Committee. She is always ready to pitch in by selling event or fundraiser tickets, asking business owners to sign petitions, and calling on businesses to participate in special promotions. Kay's dream is for Downtown Clinton to look like a Hallmark movie set at Christmas each year and she works hard to encourage all to decorate their spaces.

The Clinton Main Street Program is pleased to recognize Kay Raynor as a North Carolina Main Street Champion.
