Captain Mark and Theresa Thesier moved to Edenton and jumped into the community with both feet! They bought an electric powered tour boat, opened a boat tour company, and are now some of the first folks that tourists meet when they arrive in Edenton. When Captain Mark isn't behind the wheel of their tour boat, he can be found with Theresa caring for the plants in the flower boxes along Broad Street in Downtown Edenton. They have been seen there, literally on their hands and knees, weeding. Theresa was one of the hard-working ladies responsible for the "Blooms on Broad" project. Because of North Carolina Main Street Champions Mark and Theresa Thesier, Downtown Edenton is the friendliest and prettiest it's ever been!
