Steve Owen started growing his business in downtown Brevard in 2000, and now, nearly 20 years later, the business has grown into a thriving real estate firm.
During this time, he has served for many years on the Heart of Brevard Board of Directors and purchased and restored two key properties in the Heart of Brevard. Steve’s first purchase, and historic restoration, now houses Mayberry’s, a popular downtown restaurant. The second space is within the historic Aethelwold Hotel building, on the corner of Broad and Main Streets. This beautiful building now houses his real estate firm, Steve Owen & Associates. Steve has also helped bring other businesses into the district and has been one of Heart of Brevard’s largest sponsors over the years. His sponsorship of the annual White Squirrel Festival has helped the event grow into one of the region’s most popular free music and arts festivals, and we appreciate all his help.
