2022 NC Main Street Champion
One would have to look far and wide to find a better friend to Uptown Roxboro than Beth Townsend. She is part of academic leadership at local Piedmont Community College but always manages to offer her endless energy to support Uptown Roxboro any way she can. Beth spends countless hours volunteering and encouraging that same effort from others. She is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to organizing and planning and finding vendors or entertainment when needed.
Beth is passionately involved in whatever project she is working on and organizes fundraisers for other organizations with whom she is involved. She encourages these organizations to utilize uptown businesses to bring attention to Uptown Roxboro. She is often working behind the scenes making amazing things happen. Uptown Roxboro is a better place thanks her efforts and generosity. Roxboro is proud to call Beth Townsend its two thousand twenty-two NC Main Street Champion.
