2023 NC Main Street Champion
After Amy Bossard relocated to Belmont, she immediately got involved in the Main Street Design Committee and became one of downtown’s biggest cheerleaders and volunteers. As a passionate advocate and dog lover, Amy spearheaded fundraising efforts for a dog park and created new canine events for the community. HOWL-O-Ween has quickly become an annual Halloween event for our four-legged friends.
As an entrepreneur and small business owner, community involvement has been a hallmark of Amy’s life. Amy serves on the Belmont Main Street Advisory Board, Downtown Belmont Development Association Board, and as Chair of the Design Committee. She also participated in every sub-committee that has arisen for community events such as Moonlight on Main, Arts and Culture, and the Soundtracks Music Festival just to name a few.
Amy’s most significant accomplishment is championing the creation of the Belmont Farmers Market, which has grown tremendously over the last year.
Because of her relentless efforts and dedication, Belmont is extremely proud to recognize Amy Bossard as its 2023 North Carolina Main Street Champion.
