Peter Ustach is a passionate supporter of Downtown Elon and was a downtown leader before Elon’s acceptance into the North Carolina Main Street & Rural Planning Center’s Downtown Associate Community program in 2015. His leadership helped move Elon forward to becoming a designated Main Street community in 2018 by taking on projects, encouraging merchants to work together to promote each other, and developing two events, Window Wonderland and the Community Art Project, that helped attract more interest in downtown. Peter inspires others through his willingness to put forth new ideas and actively implementing them.
Peter Ustach’s enthusiasm for and positive leadership in Downtown Elon is what makes him a North Carolina Main Street Champion.
