Paul Robinson has had, and continues to have, a powerful impact on the revitalization of downtown Elizabeth City. At a time when others encouraged him NOT to invest in downtown, Paul believed in its potential and has been an active part of helping downtown Elizabeth City successfully reach that potential.
Paul is passionate about historic restoration and the downtown community. He has ownership interest in at least six downtown properties and, with his partners, is a driving force to bring these underutilized spaces back to life. Paul and his partners recently restored a vacant and dilapidated two-story, two-façade building to a fully occupied retail and residential economic hub.
With partial funding by the North Carolina Main Street Solutions Fund, Paul and other owners are actively renovating a second prominent property in downtown into a microbrewery and event space. Paul is a powerhouse for downtown revitalization, and he is a tremendous asset to the community.
