Mooresville - Cotton & Vickie Ketchie

Updated: Feb 13, 2019

“Cotton” and Vickie Ketchie are the epitomes of Main Street Champions.  With a successful business on Main Street in Mooresville for over 30 years, Cotton and Vickie grew and adapted to the many phases of downtown while owning and operating “Cotton Ketchie’s Landmark Galleries.”

As a watercolor artist, photographer, and author, Cotton was always willing to volunteer as our staff photographer, capturing the people and activities happening in downtown.  Vickie was constantly smiling, selling, and supporting the Mooresville community. Together, they are a powerhouse of small-town support and patriotism.

Cotton’s work has been displayed across the state in Visitors Centers, the Childress Winery, and many other locations. He was an early member and constant supporter of the Mooresville Downtown Commission.

While Cotton and Vickie traveled the state and country, they were always happy to share their love for Downtown Mooresville and the Main Street where they were located for so many years. They are Mooresville’s North Carolina Main Street Champions.
