The impact that Frank Stewart has made to downtown Kings Mountain and the community has been tremendous. Frank invested in and renovated a cornerstone building on Battleground Avenue, and put his own business, Premier Body Armor, on the first floor. He added residential living quarters to the second floor, which attracted another business owner to move into downtown and privately invest in a new restaurant. Frank’s investment in his building started a ripple effect of building renovations nearby and has added beauty to a downtown corner. For his dedication to downtown and the community, Kings Mountain recognizes Frank Stewart as a North Carolina Main Street Champion.
