2022 NC Main Street Champions
Dana Rabon and her daughter, Carlee Goldston, are a team to be reckoned with in Downtown Elizabeth City. They are relatively new investors in the downtown central business district but have fast and furiously made a tremendous difference. They purchased a vacant bank building and transformed it into a classy commerce suite, providing a home for a local, independent pharmacy. This took place after two legacy downtown independent pharmacies had closed. The building also includes suites of professional and retail businesses. Dana and Carlee also purchased an underutilized and underappreciated building on the waterfront. With their stellar design team, they are creating an energetic and “vibey” waterfront restaurant that will be a magnet for downtown. Dana and Carlee have an energy and love for Downtown Elizabeth City that can’t be matched. That is why Dana Rabon and Carlee Goldston are Elizabeth City’s two thousand twenty-two Main Street Champions.
