2023 NC Main Street Champion
Crystal and Alan Ledbetter are true Downtown Marion Champions. In January of 2021 they purchased a prominent historic downtown building and immediately began making improvements for their tenants, while preparing the upper level for future living units. Alan and Crystal are very hands on in their renovations. They are also good neighbors to their fellow property and business owners. If someone needs equipment that Alan owns, he makes it available and usually operates it for them. They are great volunteers at special events and will take on the most undesirable jobs with a great attitude.
This couple improved their back alley which is now the local gathering place. Crystal serves as Treasurer of Marion Business Association Board of Directors and is very active on the Events and Executive Committees. Crystal and Alan are dedicated shop local advocates. With a positive attitude and good humor, they give their most precious resources…time and energy to downtown. It is a delight to work with them.
