Bill Faulkenberry and David Griffith, working closely together on multiple projects, have served as Downtown New Bern Champions for decades. With a deep commitment to historic preservation and inclusive place making that strengthens Greater Downtown and benefits local businesses, Swiss Bear is proud to nominate them as New Bern’s Main Street Champions. Combining their thoughtful leadership roles on the Swiss Bear Design Committee, the New Bern Historic Preservation Commission, and the New Bern Preservation Foundation with the creative redesigns they provided for Downtown’s Inner Core, Bill and David have given hundreds of hours of pro bono design services, producing inspired results that have enhanced Greater Downtown New Bern. New Bern is proud to honor Bill and David as its NC Main Street Champions.
