Todd Walker truly embodies the spirit of “One Community.”


From leading 1,500 Airmen and civilians as commander of the 4th Mission Support Group at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, to serving as President of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, Todd has consistently worked to strengthen community ties and elevate both business and military voices.


When he joined the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation Board, he immediately fostered collaboration between the Base and downtown. A standout example? The 2025 Wings Over Wayne Air Show. Todd moved the traditional Base-only kickoff downtown, creating Jams Over Wayne—a block party featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds that drew 2,500 attendees and generated over $40,000 for local businesses.


He’s also a key force behind NC Freedom Fest, which brought in an impressive $1.3 million economic impact in 2025.


He leads with integrity, vision, and service—making a lasting difference in every role he takes on which is why Goldsboro is proud to name Todd Walker as their 2025 Main Street Champion.
