For more than 25 years, Reynolds Lisk has been a driving force behind downtown Asheboro’s growth and vibrancy. He chaired the original downtown development committee with the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber, launching beloved traditions like Christmas on Sunset, now in its 19th year. His leadership helped pave the way for Asheboro’s participation in the Main Street program and the formation of Downtown Asheboro Inc., where he’s now in his sixth year on the board.

One of Reynolds’s most impactful contributions is the "Rockin’ in the Park" Friday night concert series. These events bring thousands downtown, boosting local businesses and energizing the community. From booking bands to securing sponsors and setting up the stage, Reynolds is hands-on every step of the way.

His passion, dedication, and vision have helped shape the heart of Asheboro—and Downtown Asheboro is proud to recognize Reynolds Lisk as their 2025 Main Street Champion.
