2025 NC Main Street Champion
Jill Parker Puett has been a tireless advocate for Cherryville and a driving force behind its downtown transformation.
For over thirteen years, Jill served on City Council, championing Cherryville’s participation in the Main Street program and securing key sponsorships that helped launch the city’s partnership with the State. Jill didn’t just support the program—she helped shape it, serving on the Board of Directors and showing up for nearly every meeting and event.
During the eight-million-dollar revitalization of Cherryville’s historic Main Street, Jill was a steady presence—offering information and support to citizens regarding the project. She’s seen firsthand the economic growth the renovation brought to the heart of the city.
From planting flowers to selling tickets, speaking at events, and rolling up her sleeves wherever needed, Jill’s energy and dedication inspire everyone around her.
