Chef Gregg Hamm has been a driving force behind the growth and vibrancy of downtown Sanford. As the owner of Café 121 (one-twenty-one), Libations 139 (one-thirty-nine), and Buttermilk Biscuit Bar, he’s created welcoming spaces where the community gathers over fresh, locally inspired meals.
His impact goes far beyond the kitchen. Chef Hamm has helped establish Sanford as a true culinary destination, supporting small businesses and championing downtown’s growth every step of the way.
He’s a creative partner in downtown events, bringing food-centered celebrations and community festivals to life—drawing visitors in and encouraging them to explore all that Sanford has to offer.
Chef Hamm also mentors young culinary professionals and works with other business owners to strengthen the entire district.
Through his vision, energy, and unwavering belief in Sanford’s potential, he has elevated the community’s sense of place and pride. Sanford is deeply grateful for his leadership and commitment and is honored to recognize Cheff Gregg Hamm as its 2025 Main Street Champion.
