2019 Award of Merit - Best Public Relations Effort

The “Follow the Dollar” commercial is a creative project by the Destination Downtown Edenton organization that illustrates the power of local commerce.
As the commercial states, “when you shop local businesses, your dollar never leaves home.” To date, the commercial has had over 14,000 views on Facebook and nearly 200 shares.
Congratulations to this Small Town Main Street community for its 2019 award.
In the category of Organization, Best Public Relations Effort is awarded to the Main Street organization that has developed the most effective public relations effort for “telling the story” of their downtown program and its successes.
