Burlington - Jan Davis

As the most recent past President of the Burlington Downtown Corporation's Board of Directors, Jan Davis truly took her role above and beyond its requirements. A retired art educator, Jan also serves as the Chair of the Burlington Downtown Corporation’s Design Committee. Her service in these two important roles has been tireless.

In 2016, the Burlington Downtown Corporation experienced the loss of its two full-time staff members. As Board President, Jan took the reins to ensure that the day-to-day business of the organization didn’t miss a beat. She also led the charge of hiring two new staff members, including an Executive Director, filling the positions within five months of the staff departures.

Her work on the Design Committee has helped to enhance Downtown Burlington through several projects, the most notable being a spring and fall street planter renewal and the installation of modern wayfinding signs throughout downtown and the greater Burlington area.
